WHAT THE ANSWERS MEAN.
Every shower, a straight answer.
- A handheld head on a hose, with a mixer or power shower
- The usual setup for Waterhush. Check that your current hose unscrews from the shower outlet; if you’re not sure your outlet takes a standard hose, ask us before you order. Then follow the instruction leaflet in the box.
- An electric shower
- Not for electric showers unless your shower’s manufacturer confirms in writing that a filter head can be fitted to your model. Many makers only approve their own heads, because a different head can change the flow the unit relies on. Until then, keep your original head.
- A fixed shower head only
- Not a direct swap. You’d need a hose outlet, such as a riser rail kit, before fitting a handheld head.
- A weak flow today
- The cartridge sits in the handle, in the path of the water. If your flow is already weak, check your shower’s manual before choosing any filter shower head.
- Not sure which shower you have?
- An electric shower has its own unit on the wall, usually with a power switch or pull-cord nearby. A mixer or power shower has a valve or bar and takes hot water from your boiler or tank.
